The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

BBBEE Compliance:

Monitor and ensure compliance with BBBEE legislation, codes of good practice, and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular audits to assess adherence to BBBEE policies and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and submit BBBEE compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.

Strategy Development:

Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement BBBEE strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Analyse current BBBEE initiatives and recommend enhancements to promote economic empowerment and transformation.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to BBBEE to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Data Analysis:

Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to BBBEE initiatives, including employment equity, ownership, skills development, and enterprise development.
Identify patterns, trends, and areas of opportunity through data analysis to drive decision-making and strategy development.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, procurement, finance, and legal departments, to ensure alignment and integration of BBBEE initiatives into business processes.
Build relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, industry associations, and BBBEE verification agencies, to stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments.

Training and Awareness:

Provide training and guidance to employees on BBBEE policies, procedures, and best practices.
Raise awareness about the importance of BBBEE initiatives and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and economic empowerment within the organization.

The ideal candidate has:

Matric
Degree or Diploma
In-depth knowledge of BBBEE legislation, codes of good practice, and compliance

requirements.
