The Key purpose of this role is to activate the Beyond Beer portfolio with excellence in trade and to be the link between Beyond Beer Brands and Trade Marketing. Key Roles and Responsibilities: This position will own all aspects of the execution of the Beyond Beer Co. brands within South Africa. This person will work closely with Beyond Co Head of Brands and the Channel Managers in Trade Marketing to ensure that the execution of Beyond Beer Co. brands is achieved in line with global standards. Key to the success of this role will be in particular the flowing areas: The Beyond Beer Trade Marketing Lead will be responsible for Trade Marketing Strategies and Channel Plans per COT (E-Commerce, Formal on Premise & Main Market & IH). Responsible to Digitize & Monetize the Beyond Co eco System with an integration into BEES, E - Commerce (Tada & E - Retail). Responsible to Lead and grown the Beyond Co category by aligning trade & Channel plans to the brands objectives. Accountable to Guide and support Category Management in Key Accounts. Accountable to support and source relevant zone trade programs across all markets (Rewards & B2O best Practice). Accountable for reach strategy and briefs to determine reaches by class of trade. Accountable for Strategic Execution guidelines for all brands in all COT. Accountable for the development and maintenance of execution standards by COT and sub segments aligned to global best practice and standards. Accountable to support the Optimization of the Sales Package and budget management aligned to commercial goals. Accountable to support the development of Trade campaigns in all COT to ensure Market Share gains. Accountable to support the launch of new brands in trade. Responsible for the planning, management and agreement of all brand experiential events within a particular region. The Beyond Beer Trade Marketing Lead will be accountable for the identification, selection, agreement and management of "spiritual homes" ensuring that execution standards and agreed outcomes are achieved. The Beyond Beer Trade Marketing Lead will be accountable for the identification, management and leverage of key "influential nodes" within key cities. Responsible for the development and maintenance of execution standards by COT and sub segments aligned to global best practice and standards. Responsible to build and develop Beyond Beer capability and competence of the HE sales teams within the region. Responsible to develop Beyond Beer Events Equipment and Maintain through CAPEX investment. Develop event & brand experience activation toolkits (by type, by size) and lead the communication and training. Ensure consistent execution of regional assets across South Africa. Manage multiple agency and internal stakeholders pertaining event negotiation, planning and execution. Build capabilities across South Africa (connections, brand, markets, agencies) and transfer best practices and learnings across regions. Target setting, tracking, correction, evaluation, learnings. Profile: Education 3-Year Commercial Degree. Key Attributes and Competencies: At least 5 years sales or trade marketing experience. Category Management experience would be an added advantage. Trade marketing experience would be an added advantage. Commercial or financial acumen is key experience. Natural cross-functional leader that acts in the interest of the overall business. A self-starter with strong self-management. Able to influence across functional teams. Strong collaboration skills. A bias for action with a high degree of attention to detail with all activities. Ability to work across functions in a matrix style of management in a way that does not compromise key outcomes. Very strong negotiation skills with a high degree of commercial acumen. Both sales and brand marketing competence with a sound understanding of the sales/Trade marketing function with competence in brand marketing. Strong ability to network for the benefit of global brands. Strong project management and coordination skills.
