BI Analyst role available in Cape Town V & A Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances, and providing analysis to support decision-making. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including the timely submission of tax returns and payments. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections. General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and investigate discrepancies. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of internal and external audits, liaising with auditors as required. Payroll Processing: Coordinate payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. SAGE Accounting: Utilize SAGE Accounting software to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and streamline processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Qualified CA (SA) 3 experience in the food industry with BI Analyst exposure Proficiency in SAGE Accounting software. Advanced Excel skills, i.e. V LOOK UP and Pivot tables Strong understanding of South African tax regulations and accounting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
