Are you passionate about data and innovation? Join our client as a BI Developer for an exciting 6-month renewable contract. We're looking for a talented individual to analyze requirements, design cutting-edge solutions, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Analyze user requests and requirements. Design high-quality solutions for data sources, reports, and dashboards. Document functional and technical solutions. Develop and execute test plans. Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing. Drive user acceptance testing. Provide timely status updates using Agile methodology. Maintain professional working relationships. Build trust by delivering on commitments and conducting satisfaction surveys. Manage operational schedules and tasks as per SLA's. Handle ad hoc extract and report requests. Perform maintenance on software modules. Document processes and tasks following governance standards. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions. Share lessons learned during process optimization. Promote reuse of software components. Identify areas for development and training. Implement sustainable solutions and optimize code. Role requirements: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent 3 to 5 years in data warehouse methodology and data analysis Experience with ETL, SQL, PL/SQL, data modeling, and scripting Proven track record in delivering complex solutions Required Technical Knowledge: Must have abinitio experience Microsoft SQL, PL/SQL ETL tools (e.g., Ab Initio, SSIS) Process scheduling and server scripting (e.g., Control-M, Linux/AIX) Business writing and communication skills Apply now to be part of our journey in delivering top-notch BI solutions
