BI Engineer - - Johannesburg

We're seeking a talented BI Engineer to play a pivotal role in our data-driven journey. As part of our team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and architect scalable BI solutions. From data modeling and ETL processes to dashboard development and performance optimization, you'll leverage your expertise to drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Designing and developing data models that support business requirements
Building and maintaining ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and consistency
Creating intuitive and visually compelling dashboards and reports
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and refine solutions
Optimizing BI solutions for performance and scalability
Staying abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in BI and analytics

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a BI Engineer or similar role
3-7 years of experience in data analysis and Power BI development on Azure
Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
