Hire Resolve is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Billing Agent to join our client's team in Johannesburg. As a Medical Billing Agent, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical claims, resolving billing issues, and ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations. Responsibilities: Capture patient data accurately and efficiently Handle billing processes for various Specialist Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, and General Practitioners (GPs) Possess expert knowledge of charge codes and ICD-10 codes for Specialists, Allied Health Professionals, and GPs Optimise billing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy Understand and adhere to various medical aid agreements and billing practices Pay meticulous attention to detail and follow each practice's specific requirements Address and resolve billing queries promptly Conduct double-checking and auditing of billing entries Maintain accurate records of billing queries and resolutions Stay updated on new billing rules and industry standards through continuous learning Follow the South African Medical Association (SAMA) billing guide Manage receipting and distribution of billing in the supervisor's absence Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other stakeholders Requirements Minimum Matric Basic and Intermediate ICD-10 coding Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing Benefits Salary negotiable Salary for this position will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
