A successful, established and innovative engineering company in Durbanville needs the services of a BIM Modeler to create engineering designs and models. Create and/or modify existing engineering designs and models Prepare/assist with reports, technical drawings, engineering specifications, tender documents Measuring and compiling of bills of quantities Assist with engineering tasks related to mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects Ensure all quality system procedures are followed in the production and issuing of designs, costing, drawing and standard details Development of BIM families Regular contact and communication with the Project Engineers Coordinate with other building services Maintain project records in accordance with internal quality system 5 Years relevant experience BIM and Revit experience Knowledge of Dynamo, Python Experience with Common Data Environments Sound electrical engineering knowledge and experience Sound mechanical engineering knowledge and experience Sound piping engineering knowledge and experience Sound plumbing (wet services) knowledge and experience Sound heating, ventilations and cooling knowledge and experience Proven exposure to both industrial and building type projects Appropriate knowledge of local and international standards and codes Able to work within a disciplined engineering environment
