Our client, a national manufacturing company, currently seeks the services of a Qualified Boilermaker, to assist with fabrication/welding repairs on trollies, racking, waterjet nests, mechanical components, for the next 2 months. Minimum Job Requirements: Matric. Boilermaker Trade Test essential. Min 5 years experience as a Boilermaker essential. Roles and Responsibilities: Report to the Maintenance Manager: Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Inspection & Reporting: Manufacturing & general repairs to plant equipment (dunnage, trollies, racking). Continuous improvements in plant. Ensure job cards are completed on Maintenance Connection. Report safety hazards. Assist with projects and improvements on plant equipment. Stop production process if major issues occur and report issues to the Maintenance Manager. SHE: Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with the General Machinery Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act No.85 of 1993. Conduct safety inspections as per the roster. Ensure work is conducted in compliance with the OHS General safety Regulations. Comply with the company SHE procedures and rules. Report any identified unsafe conditions or unsafe acts to the Maintenance Foreman.
