Good day All Applicants We are looking for Boilermakers and Fitters who reside within the Durban area. If you have at least 2 -3 years experience in these two roles, kindly apply/respond on this ad with your detailed/comprehensive CV with relevant documents e.g. Clear copy of ID, Vaild Driver's License, Matric certificate etc. Boilermaker: Is expected to fabricate, assemble, install, test, maintain, and repair boilers, closed vats, and other large vessels or containers that hold liquids and gases. Fitter: Assemble and install mechanical systems and equipment. Perform maintenance and repair work on mechanical systems and equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials. Boilermaker : Matric and/or Boilermaker Trade Test certificate Minimum 2 -3 years in the same role Strength, endurance and use of proper lifting techniques to work with heavy parts and equipment Co-ordinationand manual dexterity Mechanical aptitude Good problem solving skills The ability to work in a team Flexibility to work shifts Fitter: Matric and/or Fitter Trade Test certificate Minimum 2 -3 years in the same role General knowledge of construction site standards and safety procedures. Thorough attention to detail. The ability to use their initiative. Knowledge of engineering science and technology. The ability to work well with others. Design skills and knowledge. Physical strength and stamina The renumeration will be Market related for both positions
