Job Details: Title: Bond Originating Insurance Sales Consultant Location: Cape Town Permanent: Yes Full time: Yes Industry: Insurance Salary / CTC: R 10 750 basic Reports to: Sales Manager Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven outbound sales consultant to join their dynamic sales team. As an outbound sales consultant, you will be responsible for prospecting potential clients, and closing sales through effective sales techniques. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a persuasive demeanour, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Roles and responsibilities Conduct outbound calls to leads / potential clients with the objective of generating quotes and converting to sales. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients by effectively managing leads and following up on inquiries. Demonstrate excellent product knowledge to effectively address questions and objections from clients calls. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs on a regular basis. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote client retention and repeat business. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. Collaborate with the sales team to optimise sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position our products and services. Continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications and Requirements DOFA, RE5 and FAIS qualifications are required Proven 3 years' experience as an outbound sales agent with a focus on insurance sales. Proven 3 years' experience as an outbound sales agent with a focus on Wills and Testimony sales. Strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs in a high-volume, target-driven environment. Proficient in objection handling and closing techniques. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with potential clients. Exceptional time management and organisational skills to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. Proficient in Various languages including English and Afrikaans.
