A dynamic and growing technology company in Sandton is seeking an Accounting Officer or Bookkeeper.The role involves recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports and other procedural company matters.Responsibilities:Maintain and update the company's financial records and transactionsManage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collectionsReconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basisProcess payroll and ensure all taxes are paid on timePrepare and file tax returns and other financial reportsPrepare and manage budgets and financial forecastsConduct regular audits of financial processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and complianceRespond to financial inquiries and provide support to management as neededProcessing of VAT returns and e-filingRequirements:Minimum 5 years Pastel ExperienceStrong Microsoft Excel SkillsDegree or Diploma in Accounting or BookkeepingProven experience in a similar role.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
