Minimum 4 years bookkeeping experience will be required
Excel, Word and Outlook must be at an advanced level and knowledge of financial systems is important
Must be deadline driven with high accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication and writing skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important
Must have own transport
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Processing and reconciling the cash book.
Performing all account receivables and payables functions.
Processing invoices.
Maintaining the fixed asset register.
Preparing invoices and reconciliations.
Maintaining the general ledger, including recurring and normal journals.
Reconciling month end working papers and sub modules to GL.
Verifying and updating credit applications.
Attending to general administration, such as filing and preparing ad hoc reports.
Assisting with annual audits.
Assisting with all related financial functions which may be required from time to time.
