Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including maintaining and analyzing financial statements, performing bookkeeping duties, managing accounting software, making journal entries, and assisting with finance-related activities.
- Accounts Payable and Recievable
- Bank Reconciliation
- Deal with foreign payments
- Processing and managing Supplier purchase orders/ Invoices
- Financial Record Keeping/reporting
- General administrative support
- Managing Credit applications /Credit approval process with CGIC
Qualifications
- Experience in financial statements and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE) coupled with Microsoft Proficiency
- Knowledge of finance principles and practices
- Ability to perform journal entries (accounting)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal to facilitate clear interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience in dealing with foreign currencies.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Up-to date knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations
- Relevant certification or diploma in accounting or finance
