Boutique accounting firm seeking the immediate availability of a mature experienced Bookkeeper to be based fulltime at the company’s offices in MILNERTON . The position reports directly to the Managing Director . The candidate must have previous bookkeeping experience on Pastel accounting and Pastel Payroll , SARS efiling and Easyfile. Main Duties and Responsibilities • Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance on Pastel • Accurate and timely processing of transactions using Pastel and Excel • General Ledger and Bank Reconciliations • Month-end/yearend procedures • Pastel Payroll , SARS Efiling and Easyfile • Liaising with SARS and clients • Submission of tax returns (individuals and companies) , statutory returns , VAT and reconciliation of VAT • General administrative functions Minimum Requirements • Computer literate: MS Office ( Excel and Word ), Pastel Accounting and Pastel Payroll SARS efiling and Easyfile Committed, reliable, honest and ethical individual Strong administration and organizational skills , excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and with a small team , deadline driven and able to work under pressure .
