Join us in this pivotal role" Qualification, Experience and skills BCom or Finance Diploma, or similar qualification. Essential skills include bookkeeping and accounts receivable. Experience in the education sector. Proficiency in computer applications like Pastel Evolution and advanced Excel is preferred. Excellent communication skills with parents and pupils are necessary, along with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Finance Manager Assisting the Finance Manager and Principal in budgeting and forecasting Monitoring expenditure and managing petty cash Collecting outstanding accounts and allocating payments Generating financial reports for Head Office Invoicing and bank reconciliations Addressing billing and account queries with parents Handling invoice approvals and payments Supporting with payroll tasks Overall, the role entails financial management and administrative tasks within an educational institution, requiring a blend of financial acumen, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in relevant software applications.
