Bookkeeper(JB4404) Midrand, Gauteng R20 - 25 000 per month, medical aid, retirement, risk and funeral cover and guaranteed 13th cheque Permanent A Non-Profit Organization based in Midrand is looking for a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling pressure, working independently, and collaborating effectively within a team. Minimum Requirements: Diploma in Accounting or related field 4-6 years of experience as a Bookkeeper, with a proven track record in managing financial operations to trial balance Experience in managing finances across multiple divisions and branches Proficient in Sage/Accpac Strong Excel skills Good understanding of VAT and VAT transactions Excellent problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and accurately Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the cash book and handle multiple bank reconciliations Oversee accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records to trial balance Conduct debtors/age analysis to ensure efficient credit control Handle VAT transactions and ensure compliance with VAT regulations Work across multiple divisions and branches to ensure cohesive financial management Financial reporting and analysis on Sage and Excel Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
