We have a challenging position for a high performer to provide bookkeeping services to our largest client. You will report to a senior bookkeeper who reports directly to the representative of the holding company. It provides the opportunity to work with one of South Africa's largest companies in a new, exciting and developing tech division. Processing bank transactions from a number of platforms, bank reconciliations Preparing and submitting supplier invoices for authorization and processing into the accounts Loading payment batches for supplier payments Customer invoicing over a number of different business platforms Full credit control function To perform the above within strict timelines. Accounting qualification from a tertiary institution is a must have - thorough knowledge of accounting is a pre-requisite Thorough knowledge and proven track record of working with Xero Prior experience of working with Slack, Dext and ApprovalMax would be beneficial Registration with a bookkeeping/accounting body would be beneficial Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will deal with senior management, tech and operational staff, customers and suppliers from individuals to large management companies You need to be a stickler for detail and accuracy You would be able to work remotely most of the time but may be required to work from the client's premises at times. We require you to work from our office one day a week to attend a production meeting, and just to touch base - you are part of a team after all Own transport is thus a must.
