Our client has a footprint across Africa and the Middle East as an importer of bespoke building industry material. There is an opening in their finance division for a Bookkeeper at the Roodepoort offices. Key role: Provide end to end administrative and financial support. Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring their accuracy Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports Help with payroll processing and related tasks Support senior accountants in various accounting activities Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies Follow internal accounting policies and procedures Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance (OR equivalent work experience) Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping Proficiency in ERP accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Concept of forex Highly organised with a proven ability to effectively and efficiently multitask High attention to detail Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience in setting up and maintaining an efficient and streamlined online filing system Strong administration process orientation (filing, records keeping etc.) Mature and professional R20 000 – R25 000 Per month, depending on experience and background
