Bookkeeper/Accountant (Hybrid) - Swellendam
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
B Com Accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years' working experience in an accounting firm
Bookkeeper to balance sheet will also be considered
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Candidates must possess good computer skills and the ability to learn new software
Familiarity with tax types and compliance requirements
SOFTWARE
Xero accounting software certified
Microsoft Office suite
Dext
Google Suite
Karbon
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reconciling information on Xero
Bank reconciliations
Creditor reconciliations
Debtor reconciliations
Processing expense invoices in Dext
Identifying information / supporting documents required to perform reconciliations
Fixed asset register maintenance
Assisting in the compilation of tax returns to ensure compliance across payroll, VAT and income tax
Basic accounting journal entries
