Description Our Client in the Transport and Logistics industry is seeking a Branch Manager to join their operation in Nelspruit to manage and oversee the entire operations at branch level. Duties and Responsibilities: Strategically plan and manage logistics. Regularly inspect warehouse for goods on floor Instruct drivers on daily duties. Monitor Proof or Deliveries and Cash on Delivery documentation Attend to transportation requests and customer services. Direct, optimize and coordinate deliveries. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and partners. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments. Resolve any arising problems or complaints. Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements. Meet all performance standards. Monitor fuel use Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements. Minimum Requirements: Matric Post Matric Qualification will be highly advantageous. Minimum 5 years’ experience transport/logistics industry experience 3-5 Years experience managing a transport/logistics operation.
