Branch Manager – Nelspruit - Nelspruit

Together with our client, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee operations at their Nelspruit branch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in road freight and logistics, demonstrating leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery.
    • Coordinate resource utilisation, including vehicles, personnel, and equipment.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols for a secure work environment.
  2. Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
    • Foster a positive work culture, promoting teamwork and accountability.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  3. Client Relations:

    • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
    • Explore business expansion opportunities.
    • Address client concerns promptly and effectively.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the branch budget to meet financial targets.
    • Analyse financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the finance department for accurate billing and invoicing.
  5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain service standards.
    • Conduct regular audits to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Mandatory Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in road freight and logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Remuneration:
+/- R 40 000.00 per month total cost to company.
