An exciting opportunity awaits a results-driven and detail-oriented Branch Manager in the logistics industry. We are seeking an individual with a solid background in warehouse management, showcasing effective leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest service standards. Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence:Oversight of day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.Development and implementation of efficient and standardized warehouse procedures to enhance productivity.Monitoring and optimization of space utilization within the warehouse. Team Leadership:Recruitment, training, and leadership of a collaborative team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment.Regular performance assessments, providing constructive feedback, and supporting professional development.Implementation of safety protocols to ensure compliance with warehouse policies. Inventory Control:Implementation and maintenance of robust inventory control systems for accurate tracking of stock levels.Regular cycle counts and comprehensive inventory audits to minimize discrepancies. Client Relations:Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.Collaboration with the sales team to understand client needs and propose customized solutions.Addressing client inquiries and concerns, aiming for high levels of customer satisfaction. Quality Assurance and Compliance:Implementation of quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of stored products.Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.Conducting regular inspections to uphold a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Qualifications and Skills:Grade 12 / Matric Qualification is non-negotiable.Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is advantageous.Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
