Well established, corporate client has a need for a Salesforce Build and Release Engineer that will work within the DevOps team and with the Front-End Scrum teams automating and optimizing the Salesforce software build and deployment process Accountable for all aspects of a release plan and production readiness checklist Automate and optimize their software build and deployment system within set SLAs and known best practices Manage Salesforce build and deploy infrastructure Plan and build Infrastructure-as-Code deployments for Composable Salesforce Organisations Raise build and deploy infrastructure issues and potential improvements with Operations and DevOps Teams Relevant 3-year IT degree 3 years of work experience in a development (AGILE) environment Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools (ALM) Up to date Salesforce Knowledge (FLXBL framework for Composable Salesforce Orgs, Salesforce DX for packaging and deployment) Experience with various development and scripting languages such as Apex Scripting, JavaScript, Bash Hands on experience with various operating systems Linux and Windows Experience with collaboration & development tools: SCM - Git distributed source control Build – GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins Deploy – Salesforce DX, GitLab Pipelines Ethical Good written and verbal skills Ability to see the bigger picture Proactive
