Job Title: Business Analyst (On-Site with Flexible Hours)
Location: Sandton (6-12 Month Contract)

We are currently seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sandton. This role demands a professional with substantial experience in enterprise environments, preferably within the financial services sector, who is ready to drive innovation and strategic thinking to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, interpret, and optimize SQL scripts to support business processes and decision-making.
Manage and build relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and negotiation skills.
Lead strategic initiatives, transforming innovative ideas into actionable and impactful business outcomes.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), adhering to both traditional and Agile methodologies.
Conduct comprehensive testing, ranging from manual methods to automation, ensuring software meets all specifications and quality standards.
Provide effective post-implementation support, resolving issues to enhance system functionality and user satisfaction.
Contribute to the configuration and ongoing optimization of ERP systems to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Actively share knowledge and mentor team members, leveraging your expertise to foster professional growth within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise settings, with a strong preference for backgrounds in financial services.
Advanced SQL skills are essential, with proven ability to script and interpret complex queries.
Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder management, capable of steering discussions and influencing outcomes.
Strategic thinker with a knack for innovation and elevating ideas.
Experienced in both manual testing and the principles of test automation.
Familiarity with ERP systems and an in-depth understanding of their impact on business processes.
A solid grasp of SDLC and Agile methodologies is crucial.
Passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge to improve team competency and performance.
