This role is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Head: Business Development North with regional sales budgets, management information and operational projects. What will make you successful in this role? Job purpose This role is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Head Business Development - North Key Outcomes The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Business Development Consultant: Formulate, structure, co-ordinate, manage, control, audit, and report on the operational budgets Administer payments and related processes and procedures Implement and manage compliance to company financial and budget policies Review service provider contracts Compile and report monthly on regional MIS | BI data Regional targets projections and reporting Management and reporting of business development projects Qualifications and experience B.Com financial management and/or legal qualification/s At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role Financial and budget management (knowledge and application of financial management principles, functions, reporting, budget management, and payment processes and procedures) is advantageous Project management experience Computer Skills (MS Excel advanced level) essential A valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle Competencies Client-centric orientation and focus Cultivates innovation Collaborates Being resilient Drive optimal results Attention to detail, accuracy, following robust processes and procedures Conflict resolution Analytical thinking and problem solving Planning and organising Communication and presentation skills (written & verbal) Attributes Positive, enthusiastic attitude Teamwork Ability to thrive under pressure Honesty, integrity and respect Influencing and gaining commitment Can do attitude Ability to work independently Please submit your application by 29 March 2024 Knowledge and Skills Financial advice and support Assist with production target achievement Compliance Partnership and network building Personal Attributes Business insight - Contributing independently Communicates effectively - Contributing independently Action orientated - Contributing independently Plans and aligns - Contributing independently Build a successful career with us We’re all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
