Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our client base and increase assets under management (AUM) in unit trusts and collective investment schemes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial advisors, and intermediaries to understand their needs and provide tailored investment solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Present investment solutions to prospective clients, conduct product training sessions, and provide ongoing support and education to clients and partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, client feedback, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or client relationship management within the unit trust/collective investment schemes sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of unit trusts, collective investment schemes, and the broader financial services industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
