Our client, based in Claremont Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Business Development Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be someone who embodies a blend of relational and strategic insight in B2B sales within the vibrant Learning and Development arena. Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify and engage with potential clients. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and networking. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs. Provide valuable insights to enhance our training offerings and market positioning. Prepare and present customised proposals to address client needs. Negotiate terms and close deals in a timely manner. Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service. Ensure an engaging customer. Manage all client touch points and demonstrating value throughout the sales cycle. Collaborate with the internal training and delivery teams to tailor offerings to meet client requirements. Work closely with marketing teams to align sales efforts with promotional activities. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the management team. Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Matric Tertiary education will be beneficial. Experience in B2B sales in the Learning and Development/training sector. In-depth understanding of the South African Learning and Development landscape. Familiarity with soft skills training and leadership programs and their impact on organisational development.
