Business Development Manager - Durban
Requirements:
Previous work history in similar environment (IT Sales / New Business Development) of
at least five years
.
Relevant qualification
will be advantageous.
Valid driver's license
and
own vehicle
essential.
In depth understanding of
ICT products
.
Strong
client-allied approach
.
Excellent
oral, written
and
presentation communication
.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends.
Achieve and/or exceed set financial targets personal and team.
Drive Business Development managers to become specialists to assist with cross selling into client base.
Responsible for performance management of the BDM team nationally.
Manage all BDM opportunities.
Driving sales holistically in BDM team and assist the team with closing deals.
Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals.
Generate leads and cold call prospective clients.
Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
Meet with clients face to face.
Reporting on weekly client engagements for self and team.
Foster and develop relationships with clients.
Understand the needs of clients and be able to respond effectively to meet these requirements.
Preparation of quotes and proposals.
Ensure proposals are managed in terms of accuracy and completed within SLA.
