Business Development Manager and Credit Analyst - Sandton

Main Purpose of the Job: Achieve the Branch and Department targets and budgets and other objectives by working with Department Head and relationship team/s, identifying customers' , analysing and assessing their needs and credit worthiness in order to sell the Branch products to them. To comply with policies and procedures and ensure that all Credit, Administration, Compliance and Risk matters are completed. Job Description: Business Development - To achieve the strategic clients business development targets as determined by Executives and CBD, as amended and updated from time to time on an annual basis, by planning and executing on plans. Strategic relationship - Managing strategic relationships with key strategic partners. Develop and execute strategic business initiatives and transactions Maintain strong networks and demonstrate negotiation ability to resolve impassses and conflicts. Identify - Identify and execute on business opportunities Promote and deliver positive outcomes for strategic partners Execute successful transactions and business initiatives Outcome & Results - Execute transactions and business initiatives successfully Solicit support internally, from overseas and domestic branches or Head Office to achieve desired outcome. Conduct comprehensive and effective analysis, credit ratings, covenant monitoring, pre and post loan management of clients and to manage and maintain credit risk. Complete, facilitate, coordinate, monitor and participate in the credit process both locally and with Head Office for the respective team. Credit Due Diligence - Monitoring the customers' performance from a credit perspective Supporting RM in reporting to the Risk Management department, Credit committee and Head Office/Hong Kong Approval Centre on major risk events, watch list customers, credit concentration, special mention, updating ratings, recommending customer staging chance etc. Credit Applications & Reports - Prepare the credit applications and perform comprehensive, effective and accurate credit analysis. Ensure that the business requirements and the customers' business is laid out clearly in the credit applications and that all the credit applications are prepared on time and meet the Head Office policy requirements in terms of content, quality of information and structure. Credit Planning - Diarise reviews and submissions (Local and Head Office), internal credit ratings (for borrowers and guarantors), risk classifications, enhanced credit reporting, covenants reporting and other related matters, and ensure they are completed correctly and on time. Post Loan Management - Manage, execute, measure, and monitor approval conditions (Head office/Hong Kong Approval Centre, CMC, Quarterly's, Loan Agreements and Ad Hoc) and covenants. NGS - Execute NGS tasks as required for applications and post loan management in line with policy and procedure requirements. Monitor and ensure NGS and other physical records on customers relating to credit or other matters are updated and captured correctly, amended as may be required and stored timely. Facilities Management Task Management & Research Time Management - ensure that all tasks are completed on time. Time and task management to avoid bottleneck and missing deadlines. Prioritise tasks. Formal Qualifications Required Diploma/Degree or Masters (Preferable) 5-10 years Previous Banking/Financial Services experience 2 years Administration-related experience Apply Now
