Our client is a highly leading independent global body and are currently seeking a highly competent BDM for their SA office to work across the business, ideally in the education sector. Contribute to the development of an integrated B2B sales strategy and plans that meets the requirements of the over-arching Customer Relationships Strategy and the general strategy and business plans. Responsible and accountable for the development of targeted sales plans to meet or preferably exceed budgeted revenue and margin targets. Responsible and accountable for developing corporate business across the whole spectrum of products and services leading to long-term relationships and profitable business, delivering or exceeding revenue and margin targets. Develop relationships that enhance the reputation as the leading body for procurement and that expand the opportunities for future business and referrals. Responsible and accountable for building long-term relationships with identified customers, leading to continued growth of business, and by strong handover to the delivery team, ensure that customer expectations are continuously met. Responsible and accountable for maintaining at all times the CRM systems and processes for recording customer activity, sales opportunities, pipeline and business won. Produce regular reports on personal activity in a clear and concise way that ensures real clarity of activity. Responsible and accountable for clear communications with the delivery team, ensuring that developed, bespoke customer solutions can be delivered to promise to the timescales and high quality required by the customer, maintaining strong links with the delivery team to support customer enquiries. Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the Marketing functions. To ensure marketing campaigns are relevant and timely to maximise business development opportunities. Education qualification in procurement or general business A qualification or significant experience in business, commerce, economics or marketing and sales. Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, preferably in a service-related organisation Commercial acumen, with experience working to and exceeding targets High-level communication skills being able to translate customer requirements into opportunities Demonstrable stakeholder management skills Ability to identify prospects and chase and follow up leads Proven ability to negotiate and influence Ability to deliver formal presentations and write pitch documentation, reports and commercial proposals. The ability to self-motivate, prioritise workload and meet deadlines Working knowledge of/qualification in procurement and supply Knowledge of people development solutions for organisations Experience of business education programmes and professional bodies R720 000 Per Annum Apply Now
