Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in understanding renewable energy market dynamics, pricing models, and effective risk management strategies. Drive business development and lead origination Defining and implementing marketing strategies to increase order volumes and profitability Look for additional products/services that can be added to company's offering Provide technical pre-sales services to prospective clients Have a working knowledge of the various solutions and how to implement them Manage a team of New Business developers to achieve the company target Mandatory Experience: 8 years in the South African solar industry working in rooftop, ground mount or carport projects for commercial and industrial (C&I) 5 years of business development/sales experience Strong negotiation skills
