Business Development Manager (New sales - Hunter) - Northcliff

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team and help us acquire new customers for our cyber security-oriented and identity governance solutions in South Africa. Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow our customer base and achieve sales quotas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the cyber security industry in South Africa and a strong network of contacts in the market. Responsibilities : Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers for our solutions in South Africa, and Southern Africa Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners in South Africa Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports Collaborate with sales team members and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure alignment and success in achieving business objectives Identify, nominate, and attend industry events and conferences in South Africa to network and promote our solutions Qualifications : Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas in the IT industry in South Africa Experience in identity governance, privileged account management, cloud services, and/or software asset management will be advantageous A strong network of contacts in the South African market Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry partners in South Africa Strong negotiation and closing skills Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive results Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field 5 years of experience in a similar role in the South African market If you are a results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a passion for cyber security and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the South African cybersecurity market, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
