To drive and ensure consistent and sustainable sales growth of organisational health and wellness services to existing and new clients Accountabilities: Sales Create, Co-ordinate and implement sales strategy in line with Afrocentric Wellness' strategy Support and lead initiatives relating to achieving profitable sales and new business generation targets through: Direct sales / new business to AfroCentric Managed Medical Schemes Direct sales / new business to non-Afrocentric Managed Medical Schemes Direct sales / new business to corporate clients Broker Consultancy services to Sanlam Channel Brokers for sales / new business of Sanlam corporate clients Broker Consultancy services to non-Sanlam Channel Brokers for sales / new business of corporate clients Management and submission of profitable proposals and tenders to all channels. Continuous improvement - Implement practical solutions that use the specialist and departmental systems and processes - Provide specialist input and recommendations to improve the efficiency, compliance and quality objectives related to the area of specialisation - Identify problems, develop and propose solutions to present to appropriate leader or stakeholders - Ensure day-to-day operational support required from area of specialisation is provided to enhance business performance. Cost containment - Support the identification, development and implementation of cost-effective processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost drivers related to area of specialisation - Continuously review cost / benefit and Return on Investment within area of specialisation Drive customer-centricity - Continually increase understanding of client and stakeholder needs, satisfaction and service delivery - Maintain a high level of impact on other departments to support improved delivery Knowledge management - Ensure that adequate knowledge regarding specialisation is shared as required and maintained within the research library - Provide advice and / or training as required - Maintain, develop and implement specialist knowledge within the day-to-day operations of the organisation Network key relationships - Engage with and provide support to the established network of internal and external expert resources and partners Specialist support to projects - Provide specialist expertise and ensure best practice related to specialisation is implemented in projects, when required - Conform to project management disciplines when participating in projects - Represent department or project on appropriate committees related to area of specialisation Position Specific Outputs Design and implement sales strategy that ensure the growth of sales Conducts sales activities toward achievement of sales strategy and targets Source and respond to tenders in collaboration with Afrocentric Procurement Department Create a supportive, sustainable and productive network that facilitates growth and sales success Professionally documents all sales activities Ensure adherence to monthly reporting Behave in alignment with a culture that's in line with the Afrocentric Wellness values Competency Requirements: Attribute Entrepreneurship: to continuously improve our customer's experiences Influence: Engage with Customers and colleagues to advance the organisation's welfare Credibility: Lead with integrity and trust others as you would like to be trusted Ownership: Make critical decisions based on what's right for AfroCentric Wellness customers and colleagues Collaboration: Build work-related network and share knowledge with colleagues Knowledge Knowledge and understanding of a range of organisational health and wellness services products and their profit drivers Knowledge, application and compliance to relevant legislation and regulations Knowledge, application and improvement of policies and procedures Skill Sales Skills Relationship Management Skills Communication Skills Computer Technology Skills Business Writing Skills Financial Acumen Presentation skills Market knowledge and application Knowledge and application of sales planning principles and processes Business Acumen Quality Orientation Experience 5 years relevant health and wellness industry experience, including occupational health and primary health clinics.
