A leading omni-channel retailer is recruiting for a Business Planning Analyst to analyse and interrogate date, with an acute attention to detail. Business Palnning Analyst Salary: Market Related Location: Southern Suburbs Here's what you can expect to be doing in the role Formulate strategies and suggest changes and/or improvements to current business plan and adspend budget to achieve revenue growth Analyse sales metrics and key business plan metrics to ensure business financial objectives are met Collaborate with CICA to identify new sustainable and profitable growth opportunities Understand & communicate variances between Business Plan versions across the different metrics including budgeted adspend Review Business Plan with key business areas to ensure alignment Responsible for the accurate & timely management & communication of Business Plan versions to all stakeholders. Engage and challenge key stakeholders that provide input to the business plan and planners on assumptions made regarding their campaigns Responsible for organising Business Plan sign-off meetings, actions & prepare presentations accordingly Ensure channel sales proportions are sensible and in line with business strategy Responsible for accuracy of adspend file and ensure updates of third-party figures, actuals and changes Report on adspend performance against budget & LE Oversee, maintain and distribute the timely and accurate weekly and monthly reports and updates as per the requirement for this role Responsible for building and delivery of ad hoc reporting if and when required Engage with IT to support deployment of Vena enhancements Requirements Business Science / BComm / Finance / Stats / Marketing Degree and/or CIMA qualification A minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar analytical and/or reporting role Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills Ability to create, innovate and display financial thinking within a distance retail context Ability to work independently and interface with multiple management levels and multiple areas of the company Proven understanding of business environments and processes Experience in managing people Benefits Flexible benefits to structure your own package Creative agile work environment Flexible working hours Café and lounge area Staff restaurant with a variety of healthy meal options
