About You and the Key Skills We're Looking For: At IQbusiness, we are seeking a talented Systems Analyst who possesses a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. As a Systems Analyst, you should be highly qualified to handle both technical and business aspects of projects, with at least 5 years of experience in system analysis or related roles. What You Will Be Doing: As a Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the design, development, and implementation of innovative systems that meet our clients' evolving needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, and develop comprehensive specifications that align with business objectives. Some of Your Duties Include: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new or updated systems and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, business requirements, and system architecture diagrams. Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation. Design and implement innovative solutions that address complex business challenges and enhance operational efficiency. Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and resolve and defects and/or quality issues with the system and provide support during the implementation phase. Proactively identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decision-making and drive innovation. Requirements: A bachelor's degree or higher in business, commerce or another relevant field. At least 4 years' relevant experience in a technical business analysis or systems analysis role. Industry experience required: Finance, Banking, FinTech, Retail or Insurance industry experience preferred. Demonstrated interest and competency in technology.
