Butchery Manager - South Africa

Butchery Manager Summary of responsibilities This position will be responsible for dealing with customers, run promotions, receive stock acceptable standard and take weekly perpetual stock take. This position will be responsible for knowing exactly the different cuts of meat. Minimum Requirements Must have matric (Grade 12) Butcher introduction course or meat technician course. Should be a qualified blockman At least 10 years working experience in retail factory management PC literate Interpersonal skills to communicate with manager, staff, suppliers and customers Fine motor skills are important as this will enable the butcher to cut meat in the correct manner Responsibility - exerts a high level of effort and perseverance towards goal attainment of fresh meat of low prices Time management to ensure that all varieties of products are ready for customers before the store opens as well as the ability to follow a production schedule Ability to work under pressure to ensure that all varieties products remain replenished throughout the day Own Reliable Transport Must require minimum supervision Able to work in open plan office environment Apply Now
