Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Purchasing within Budget Spend with approved suppliers below or within Budget as indicated on the allowance rate sheet Negotiate with Suppliers Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make savings. Purchase Orders Prepare and raise purchase orders ensuring all information required is completed Manage Relationships Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications Ensure On Time Delivery Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders On time and in full delivery from suppliers Communication time lags Communication of procurement timing with the Procurement Manager Ensuring products are purchased at the right time, to specification and at a good price Reporting Prepare reports and updates A minimum of five years related experience and /or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent people skills Ability to coach team members in-house and in-field Strong negotiation skills Decision making and trouble shooting. Able to develop and execute production plans. Very good computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Browser, Strumis) Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner. Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
