The successful candidate will be a well-experienced , self-starter, accurate and administratively strong individual and will be in possession of the following: DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Procurement of cattle for the feedlots and abattoirs Liaising with cattle buyers and cattle farmers Monitoring holding stations Identify sick animals. Logistic management of cattle trucks Compile management reports. Controlling the total purchasing process: import documentation, VAT, credit control etc Ad hoc duties Matric (Grade 12) Extensive knowledge of cattle and the feedlot industry Extensive knowledge of the livestock markets Computer literate Conversant in both English and Afrikaans Sound letter writing capability. Advanced financial/accounting experience Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail is paramount. Strong people skills Strong negotiating skills Must be willing to travel to our different holding stations in South-Africa, Botswana & Namibia Valid passport Apply Now
