Salary : 11 000 to R 13 000 per month

Qualifications , Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Minimum 35 years experience in purchasing of Chemicals or Engineering or Mining products
- Comprehensive knowledge of buying.
- Good technical knowledge, follow ups, quality orientated, has planning and organizing skills.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Must have Experience in SYSPRO or equivalent
Required outputs: Functional
- Processing and placement of purchase orders with suppliers.
- Maintain supplier Master data.
- Liaise with production, engineering, transporters and suppliers on forecasts & purchases.
- Collaborate with other departments and assist where documents are required on goods delivered/ordered.
- Involved intensive administration duties, attention to detail, attending of local production meetings and meetings with suppliers to build quality working relationships.
- Evaluate, monitor and report on supplier performance by recording and measuring incoming material and quality, on time deliveries and service delivery.
- Confirm commercial sustainability of vendors/suppliers by vetting and negotiating prices.
- Carrying out of regular stock takes and reviews of slow-moving stocks/spares
- Regular updates on critical spares holdings.
- Inventory valuations.
