As a car rental agent you will play a crucial role in the customer service and sales operations of our car rental company. Duties and responsibilities typically include: Customer Service: Greeting Customers: Welcome customers warmly and assist them with their rental needs. Answering Inquiries: Respond to customer questions about vehicle availability, rental terms, pricing, and policies. Resolving Issues: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Rental Process Taking Reservations: Handle incoming reservations via phone, email, or online booking systems. Processing Rentals: Complete rental agreements, explain terms and conditions, and ensure customers understand their responsibilities. Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-rental and post-rental vehicle inspections to note any damages or issues. Handling Payments: Process payments, refunds, and ensure proper billing procedures are followed. Sales and Upselling Promoting Services: Promote additional services such as GPS rental, insurance, and child seats. Upselling: Encourage customers to upgrade to higher-end models or add extra features. Administrative Tasks Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of rental transactions, customer information, and vehicle status. Reporting: Generate reports on rental activities, sales performance, and customer feedback. Fleet Management Vehicle Availability: Monitor and manage vehicle availability to ensure an adequate supply of rental cars. Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure vehicles are serviced and ready for rent. Logistics: Arrange for vehicle deliveries and pickups when necessary. Additional Duties Marketing Support: Assist in promotional activities and campaigns to attract more customers. Training: Train new employees on rental procedures and customer service standards. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards. Salary is market related plus benefits.
