Dr M Thusi is a Specialist Physician and Nephrologist, looking for a cardiac technician to join his growing team. Dr Thusi is working at MediClinic Newcastle and also has a medical practice is based in Newcastle central. We offer the following services Asses and treat refractory hypertension Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases Treatment of fluid and electrolyte problems Dialysis assessment and post-dialysis management Kidney transplant assessment and post-transplant management Spirometry Non-Invasive Cardiac Evaluation Conducting electrocardiogram (ECG), Conducting echocardiogram (Echo), Conducting Carotid doppler scan and stress tests by using electronic equipment for both in-hospital and out of hospital patients. Attach and analyse holters and ABPM devices and send reports to doctor. Carotid arterial dopplers and neck vessel flow assessments. Ensuring cardiology patients are comfortable by answering any questions they have about the tests. Recording the results of tests done and sending to the doctor for discussion. Assisting the doctor during non-evasive cardiological procedures by monitoring the patients' heart rates and alerting the doctor to any readings outside normal ranges. Maintaining cardiological equipment and supplies with daily cleanings and adjustments. Recording supply inventory levels and restocking the supply storeroom accordingly. Troubleshooting problems with cardiological equipment and reporting any malfunctions to superiors. Staying up-to-date with cardiological developments by attending conferences and participating in research project Diploma in Clinical Technology - 2 Years clinical work experience - Willing to relocate to Newcastle (KZN) R35,000 per month (Nett - Take Home) Accommodation allowance
