Carpenter / Furniture Restorer required for well-established Transport and Logistics Company. Must be a self-motivated individual who operates well under pressure and is willing to get things done. Suitable candidate should have a minimum of the following attributes: Knowledge of the methods of carpentry work Skills in using tools to cut and join wooden materials Ability to follow written instructions Ability to follow oral instructions with little need for repetition Ability to work under pressure Essential duties and responsibilities Restore furniture Gather material to be used Paint mixing and colour matching Measures and marks materials for cutting Cuts and drills wood and other materials using hand and power tools Joins materials with nails, screws or glue Checks accuracy of work with levels, rulers and measuring tapes Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes Must be able to handle pressure and be willing to work extended hours if required Qualifications and Accreditations Minimum qualification Grade 12 with the necessary working experience Valid South African driver's licence, minimum code 8 Desired Skills: capentry Restoration Deadline Driven Desired Work Experience: 2 to 5 years Desired Qualification Level: Grade 12 / Matric
