Minimum requirements:

Minimum qualification Grade 12 with the necessary working experience
Valid South African drivers licence, minimum code 8
Knowledge of the methods of carpentry work
Skills in using tools to cut and join wooden materials
Ability to follow written instructions
Ability to follow oral instructions with little need for repetition
Ability to work under pressure
Gather material to be used
Paint mixing and colour matching
Measures and marks materials for cutting
Cuts and drills wood and other materials using hand and power tools
Joins materials with nails, screws or glue
Checks accuracy of work with levels, rulers and measuring tapes
Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes
Must be able to handle pressure and be willing to work extended hours if required
