Behavioural Competency The successful candidate will be goal-oriented with strong customer, quality and performance focus. Requirements: Diploma in Nursing / N-Cur or Equivalent additional Qualifications would be an advantage Nurse with a proven case manager and clinical coding experience of at least 3 -5 years Current SANC registration Knowledge of hospital patient services and case management processes Knowledge and understanding of CPT & ICD coding Knowledge of Funder contracts, scheme rules, exclusions and benefits Understanding of private hospital industry and practices Computer proficiency Code 8 Drivers Licence Duties include the following, but not limited to: Carry out clinical coding in accordance with CPT and ICD requirements Ensure authorisation information is accurate and in accordance with hospital and funder procedures Provide complete and accurate updates and discharge information of all accounts Keep patients and doctors informed Handle patient files in accordance with hospital procedures Timeous electronic submission of accounts and follow up on short payments arising from case management related issues Ensure the adherence of hospital staff to funder rules and coding procedures Keep well informed on legislation pertaining to funders and related care matters Salary: Market Related Vacancy Reference no: BFN000058 Closing Date: 30 April 2020 To apply for the above-mentioned position and more information visit www.intelligentplacement.co.za/vacancies If you don’t hear from us within 3 weeks of your application, please consider your application unsuccessful
