Cash Management Specialist - Cape Town City Centre

Duties: Ensure all capturing / processing, matching and settlement of all trades to the accounting system timeously which include: Call Transfers, FX deals etc Preparing manual instructions for any cash settlements where necessary: FX deals, complete BOP forms Capturing and processing of payments and transfers on electronic banking platforms. Maintaining broker settlement details, contact details and brokerage rates Compiling of incident reports Handling queries efficiently to ensure resolution of both internal and external client queries (in conjunction with the Client Delivery team). You will need to build and maintain healthy client and counterparty relationships to ensure resolution of settlement issues identified Ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risk Supporting the management and co-ordination of team deliverables relating to projects and new client take-on’s Requirements: Relevant experience of at least 2-4 years in a similar Reconciliations role gained in Fund Administration/related environment with specific exposure to FX Deals, BOP forms etc MS Office - Exposure to related investment accounting and administration systems and related reconciliations tools Relevant tertiary qualification(s) (preferred but not essential) Key Competencies: Highly methodical and can working within specific processes and structure Highly methodical Positive team player Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Honesty and integrity Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills
