About the position: The Cash Book and General Accounting Clerk role at Pace Car Rental entails handling various financial and accounting tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational background in accounting or bookkeeping, coupled with relevant experience in the field. Proficiency in utilizing accounting software such as Sage Business Online and Odoo is advantageous. Responsibilities: Timely and accurate processing of cash book, credit card, refund, and ad hoc banking transactions for multiple companies within our group Ensure timely and correct follow-up on all discrepancies Accurately reconcile cash books in a timely manner Provide precise cashflow information Prepare weekly EFTs and transfers following approved procedures Handle and resolve account queries promptly via phone and email Escalate unresolved queries as per established processes Assist various finance team functions on an ad hoc basis Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Certificate Accounting/Bookkeeping diploma or degree 1-2 years of experience in financial and accounting roles preferred Familiarity with bank reconciliations, dispute resolution, queries handling, entries/matching, and bookkeeping advantageous Working knowledge of Sage Business Online and Odoo beneficial Computer literacy is a must R12 000 - R15 000 CTC Apply Now
