The purpose of the Financial Advisor (Investments Specialist) role is to: Assist clients in creating comprehensive financial plans tailored to their specific needs and goals. This includes assessing their current financial situation, setting financial objectives, and developing strategies to achieve them. This includes investment advice, retirement planning, tax planning, monitoring and reviewing. • Financial Planning: Conduct comprehensive financial assessments of clients, understanding their financial goals, analysing their current financial situation, and create personalised financial plans to achieve those goals. • Investment Management: Recommend suitable investment strategies and products based on the client's risk tolerance, time horizon, and financial objectives. Monitoring and managing investment portfolios to optimize performance and align with the client's goals. • Retirement Planning: Assist clients in planning for their retirement by estimating retirement needs, recommending retirement accounts, and devising strategies to accumulate sufficient funds for a comfortable retirement. • Tax Planning: Provide guidance on tax-efficient investment strategies and suggest ways to reduce tax liabilities through proper tax planning techniques. • Client Education: Educating clients about various financial concepts, investment options, and economic trends to enhance their financial literacy and empower them to make informed decisions. • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and industry standards, as well as maintaining appropriate fit and proper requirements. • Client Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, regular communication, and being accessible to address their financial concerns. • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about the latest market trends, economic developments, and financial products to offer well-informed advice to clients. • Continual Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and training to stay updated on industry changes, new investment options, and evolving financial planning strategies. • Networking and Business Development: Build and expanding a network of potential clients and industry contacts to grow your client base and business. • Ethical Conduct: Maintain the highest ethical standards and putting clients' interests first in all financial recommendations and interactions Minimum 5 years in financial advisory role. Minimum bachelor's degree in financial planning or similar Regulatory Examination 5 for representatives CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional will be added advantage Negotiable with basic plus commission, based on book size, experience and qualification.
