Our client in the banking sector is looking for a: CFID Cash and Position Recons Officer contract duration of 6 months. Job Purpose / Technical Skills/ Experience/ Responsibilities: The overall purpose of the job is as follows: Perform the Cash reconciliation functions for the various Trading desks post Settlement date (S1). Ensure that the outstanding cash items are investigated thoroughly. Monitor outstanding cash items and ensure all items are resolved within 2 days, except for interest, reserving costs, and etcetera. Escalate outstanding items where required. Collate all cash data for the MI reporting once all reconciliations are prepared. Forward the Reconciliation reports to the required audiences. Ensure that all process documents are kept current and up to date. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external clients. Stand in for staff as required Assist Management as and when required
