We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative South Indian Chef who specializes in vegetarian food If you are passionate about preparing delicious vegetarian and vegan food, are looking for a startup opportunity or a slowdown opportunity, our team is looking to expand, and we need you to help us continue cooking delicious meals for our customers within a Hindu Place of Worship . We are looking for someone to set up menus, create new dishes, is familiar with South Indian taste and can leverage off an established customer base to grow and diversify our current offerings. If you have what it takes to give us an elevated twist on the Dosa and idli vibe, enhance the South African Indian Vegetarian and Vegan base- we want to hear from you. Availability over weekends is a must. Experience in cooking for bulk orders and catering will be highly advantageous. Ultimately, you'll prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our customers. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook Leadership skills Hands-on Experience with various kitchen equipment Creativity when preparing meals Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks Excellent time management abilities Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Culinary school diploma preferred Have a car with valid South African driver's license would be an advantage Basic Commission (Structure dependent on experience)
