My client in the Agricultural Sector is looking for a Chief Accountant to join their team. Required fully bilingual individuals (English & Afrikaans) for this position. Must be a qualified CA (SA) with 3 years relevant accounting experience, post articles. Key Responsibilities: Interim and Financial Reporting (project leader) Compile consolidation income statements, balance sheet and cashflow statements within specific deadline dates Compile consolidated financial statements -ensuring compliance with IFRS standards Scrutinize Group financial TB for any variances Improve overall bi-annual & annual year-end close and reporting processes Serve as project leader for the Audit Committee in terms of planning and coordination Research best practice and legislative changes, and provide overview of statutory requirements Employee Management - performance of employees, and provide in-house training and guidance and support to employees Apply Now
